Kennedy began dating Lauren Scruggs in the Summer of 2013. Kennedy and Scruggs became engaged on May 30, 2014 in Lauren's Texas hometown. The couple were married on December 12, 2014 in Dallas, Texas at the Four Seasons Resort and Club at Las Colinas.
